Get Measurements
Once you’ve determined what needs to be altered, have the tailor take measurements to ensure that the alterations are done correctly. This may include measuring your waist, hips, inseam, and other body parts to make sure that the suit fits you perfectly.
Communicate With the Tailor
Throughout the alteration process, communicate with the tailor to make sure that you’re both on the same page. If you’re not happy with the way a particular alteration has been done, speak up and have the tailor make changes as needed.
